Join Highlands Ranch Water, the Douglas County Sheriff, and the Highlands Ranch Metro District for the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.

This drive-through event is a safe, convenient way to clean out your medicine cabinet and help protect our community—and our water supply. Bring your unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications for safe disposal.

Please note: The following items will not be accepted at the event:

• Syringes, needles or other sharps.
• Inhalers, such as those for asthma.
• Aerosol cans.
• Mercury thermometers.
• Iodine-containing medications.
• Illegal drugs or substances (including marijuana which is still a schedule 1 drug under federal law), and any prescription medications obtained illegally.
