Highlands Ranch Water invites customers to attend its Fall Community Open House on Thursday, Nov. 5, from 5:30–7 p.m. at the Highlands Ranch Senior Center, 200 E. Highlands Ranch Parkway.

The open house is an opportunity for customers to learn more about Highlands Ranch Water’s proposed 2027 budget and rates, including what water and wastewater rates fund and the budget process and timeline. Staff will be available for one-on-one conversations and to answer questions.

The event also provides an opportunity to learn more about other programs, services and projects across the district. Customers can visit with staff about conservation, drought and water supply, capital improvement planning, your water bill, and the May 2027 board of directors election.

“Transparency and community engagement are important to us, particularly as we plan for the year ahead,” said General Manager Sam Calkins. “We want customers to understand what their rates support, ask questions and have an opportunity to talk directly with the staff who provide these services every day.”

Whether you have a specific question about your water bill or simply want to learn more about your water and wastewater provider, stop by and join the conversation. No formal presentation is planned; customers are welcome to drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7 p.m.
